I’m Zawadi, and I’m so glad you’re here.

This journey began with the birth of my first child and a deep call to creativity, healing, and truth. I believe we all have gifts—and it’s our duty to uncover them, not only for ourselves but for the good of others and the world.

For over 25 years, I’ve been on a path of self-discovery, service, and transformation—navigating life with no map, little support, but a powerful inTENTion. From recycling workshops to writing memoirs, empowering communities, and honoring the Earth, my story has been a patchwork of lessons and love.

This blog is where I begin to stitch those pieces together. A space for honesty, art, and connection—especially for Black women and girls seeking breath, beauty, and belonging.

Thank you for being here. I hope what you find brings warmth, inspiration, and the courage to keep uncovering your own truth.

There’s more to come one brave step at a time!

Welcome!

This space is for women of all ages, but especially those over 40, who’ve spent most, if not all of their lives caring for everyone else and are now ready to reconnect with themselves. I know what it means to survive generational trauma, navigate many transitions towards transformation, and finally reaching a stage where I’m ready to thrive.

Together, we’ll explore creativity, nature, and the courage it takes to start anew. My passion lies in empowering others through storytelling, natural healing and building and what it takes to live a self-sustaining and fulfilling life.
